University Institute of Engineering & Technology (UIET) was established by Kurukshetra University in 2004 to be developed as a "Centre of Excellence" in
order to offer quality technical education and to undertake research in Engineering & Technology. Presently, the institute is offering four B. Tech and four
M. Tech degree programs in the technically important disciplines of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer
Science Engineering, Biotechnology and Mechanical Engineering. Three M.Tech courses are going to commence from the current session.
The institute is also offering Ph.D. programs in various engineering disciplines. The institute is also serving as a nodal agency for the matters of academic
importance like, development of scheme of examination, syllabus, academic plan and maintenance of standards in affiliated Engineering colleges and is headed by
Director, Prof., (Dr.) Dinesh Kumar Ph.D. (Cantab). |
